SMALL businesses across Portsmouth are being urged to enter a national award scheme judged by industry leaders, including businesswoman and consumer champion Sarah Willingham from BBC’s Dragon’s Den.

The Nectar Business Small Business Awards they recognise the UK’s most outstanding small businesses.

Winners from each of the award’s eight categories will receive £2,000, 50,000 Nectar points and a place at a round-table event, where they will meet the judging panel, discuss key industry topics and receive tailored advice.

Ms Willingham said: ‘It’s so important to support and champion British small businesses and recognise the drive, commitment and sheer hard work that goes into making them a success.’
