THE British sailing team competing in the Portsmouth America’s Cup World Series next month has secured a new partnership with Jaguar Land Rover.
Ben Ainslie Racing announced the sponsorship deal at its America’s Cup headquarters in Old Portsmouth this morning. As exclusive innovation partner, Jaguar Land Rover’s engineers and designers will work closely with the team to provide ‘race winning technology’.
The BAR team has now been renamed Land Rover BAR as part of the deal.

‘Together we will develop race-winning technology for our America’s Cup Class Land Rover BAR will start their challenge for the America’s Cup at home in Portsmouth in the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series Portsmouth, in a month’s time.
Over 90,000 tickets have already been sold for the cup series, taking place off Southsea Common from July 23 to 26.
