Ben shows his worth with apprentice awardÂ

AN APPRENTICE at a marine textile manufacturer in Lee-on-the-Solent has been honoured for his work.Â

Ben Sutton, 21, from Gosport, who works for Tecsew, won the Non-technical Apprentice of the Year category at the British Marine Awards 2018, run by the British Marine Trade Association. He beat 73 other apprentices to the title.

John Bland, managing director of Tecsew, said: '˜Ben has certainly showed his worth. We very much see Ben as having a great future with Tecsew and helping take Tecsew to new heights with his passion and dedication. A big well done from myself and all of us at Tecsew.' 

Ben said: '˜It feels nice to be recognised. I enjoy working for Tecsew, I'm definitely going to stay here for a long time.'
