SIX major projects worth a total of Â£16.4m have been gained by the new board and shareholders at Amiri Construction this year.

Mark Vincent, business development director at Amiri Construction in Segensworth, says that this is one of the best starts to the year experienced by the company since it was founded in 2005.

He said: ‘We are delighted to gain a diverse range of projects including a residential estate, multimillion-pound factory units, and a new visitor centre for a charitable trust near Chichester. This is on top of seven projects either planned or well under construction.’

The introduction of new shareholders and directors was announced in December.

Managing director Grahame Pettit and fellow director Kevin Lendon started the company in 2005.

It now employs 35 people at its head office.
