Bus service offers cheaper prices for June weekends
BUS tickets will be cheaper on weekends in June to mark World Environment Day.
Bus operator First is offering the cheaper price in Portsmouth and on the Gosport and Fareham Eclipse routes to mark the day tomorrow.
Chrissie Bainbridge, business performance director for First Solent, said: ‘We’re supporting World Environment Day by giving people an extra incentive to leave their cars at home.
‘We’re running a promotion every weekend in June that will save two customers who are travelling together £1.40 through the Duo mTicket priced at just £7.’
