Business coach talks motivation at free Fareham seminar

The event will take place tomorrow from 9am until 5pm at Cams Hall Estate Golf Club in Fareham, with lunch and refreshments included.

Mr Shrimpton, from Sarisbury Green, who runs ActionCOACH, said the day would give business owners an insight into management and leadership skills, identifying the difference between them.

He said: ‘Management and leadership are two different skill sets, which often are misinterpreted.

‘Management is about getting staff to do the stuff now and making sure it’s done right, however, leadership is about motivating them want to do stuff in the first place.

‘Your workforce is indeed your best asset in your business and should be loved and nurtured in the same way as your valued customers.

‘If we approach leadership skills training in the right way we can increase a team’s performance which in turn will increase efficiency, saving costs, and increasing revenue... probably both.’
