BUSINESSES are gearing up to put their wares on display, as Portsmouth hosts its second business expo next week.

More than 500 visitors attended the event last year, which was held at the Pyramids Centre.

The venue will once again host the expo, which is organised by Memo Events, and which will take place on Thursday from 9.30am until 3.30pm.

The event’s organisers are hoping that this year’s event attract even more visitors.

Matthew Larcome, who runs Memo Events, said: ‘The Portsmouth Business Expo is a business exhibition and networking showcase for businesses to network, forge new relationships and do business.

‘There will be more than 80 exhibitors represented at the show including The News, Hampshire County Council, Portsmouth City Council and the Hampshire Chamber of Commerce.’

Entry to the event is free of charge, but those who want to attend are being encouraged to pre-register online.
