A CHARITY which works with businesses to improve the communities in which they work has moved into the Langstone Technology Park in Havant.

The Business in the Community Solent team works with organisations including the University of Portsmouth, and Jobsite – also based at the technology park – and is run by Fasset.

Mike Toy, community impact manager at BITC, said: ‘We are delighted to now be based at Langstone Technology Park.

‘The site offers a fantastic range of facilities and is easily accessible from across the region and central London. This relocation allows us to work more closely with the local business community and drive forward the responsible business.

‘Over the coming months I look forward to working with the team at Fasset to develop events and initiatives across the Langstone site.’

Gary Medlow, who is the managing director of Fasset at Langstone, added: ‘Langstone is the heart of the Havant business community and, as such, is involved in many projects and education partnerships.’
