With camping holidays set to return Decathlon announces reopening of Cosham store

WITH campsites and caravan parks allowed to reopen from July 4, visitors will now be able to get all the outdoor equipment they need after Portsmouth’s Decathlon store confirmed it will also be reopening on Friday (June 26).

The North Harbour store’s operation manager, Catherine Crooker, said she is ‘really excited’ to once again be welcoming customers into the specialist sports shop.

Catherine said: ‘With campsites reopening we have a good supply of all the outdoor equipment people may need. The company has been opening its shops in stages and we are delighted to be opening our doors from Friday.’

The store has put in place a number of measures to help ensure customers remain safe while shopping including hand sanitiser points, personal protective equipment for staff and reduced opening hours.

Catherine added: ‘It has been difficult for all our stores worldwide but we are confident we can make a good recovery from this.’

The store will be open on Monday to Saturday from 9am to 6pm and on Sundays from 10am to 4pm.
