Cash boost of £2.6m to grow businesses in East Hampshire

London and south east are top in manufacturing productivity according to report

AROUND £2.6m will be spent on building new business premises.

East Hampshire District Council has been given £1.6m by the M3 Local Enterprise Partnership.

The money will be combined with £1m of the council’s money and spent on developing new buildings for businesses to use.

The scheme will create at least 100 new jobs.

East Hampshire’s leader Ferris Cowper said: ‘There is a real shortage of business space in East Hampshire. Local businesses need to grow and expand.’
