A CURRENCY exchange store is expanding its chain to cash in on the upturn in market conditions.

Travel money specialist No.1 Currency will move into premises in Gosport High Street.

The lease for the store was negotiated by property consultant Myddleton & Major.

Retail partner at the firm Simon Lee said: ‘We are excited at the prospect of a large international company taking space in a prime location in Gosport.’

The store will give the brand a central trading position on the high street close to its junction with South Street.

Nearby leading national chains to the shop include Subway, Nationwide, New Look, 99p Stores and Peacocks.
