A BUSINESS centre in Gosport has been proving its community credentials by donating hundreds of pounds to charity.

The Gosport Business Centre, run by Basepoint, has handed over £405.33 to Home-Start Gosport and Fareham, its nominated cause, to help parents struggling to cope.

The money was raised from a series of events, which including the Great South Run, a skittles night and a fun day.

Hannah Bourne, the assistant centre manager at Basepoint Gosport, said: ‘We are delighted to be able to present this money to such a great charity.

‘Home-Start Gosport and Fareham does such wonderful work within our local community helping families who are in need of emotional support.’
