COMPANY managers are more positive about economic prospects for next year even though uncertainty is likely to continue, says a new report.

A survey of almost 600 managers showed that just over half are optimistic about their organisation’s outlook in 2013, 10% up on a year ago, while more than two-thirds feel secure in their jobs.

The Chartered Management Institute (CMI) said its study also found that slightly fewer managers expect to make redundancies in 2013 than this year.
