TWO recruitment companies short-listed for Best Start Up Company at The News Business Excellence Awards have now received national recognition.

Carrington West and Dynamite Recruitment have been short-listed nationally for Best Newcomer Agency at the Global Recruiter Awards.

Simon Gardiner, director of Carrington West, thinks it is great for both companies.

He said: ‘This news underlines what the judges for The News Business Excellence Awards saw in our companies.

‘Winning best start-up company at the News event earlier this year was unbelievable and this recognition from the recruitment industry is great news for us.’

As two non-competing firms from the Portsmouth area, Dynamite and Carrington West make up half of those short-listed nationally for Best Newcomer Agency.

Matt Fox, Dynamite Recruitment managing director, added: ‘As a team we are overjoyed to have been recognised nationally.’

The awards take place in Leicester Square, London, on June 27.
