A LARGE proposed development off the A3(M) could conflict with plans for a huge new business park.
Planners from Havant Borough Council have written to East Hampshire District Council to voice a concern about the Hazleton Farm development in Horndean, which is set to include around 700 homes and five acres of employment land.
The letter says: ‘The employment proposed for the site has the potential to create competition for existing or new employment premises in Havant borough.
‘The area most likely to be affected by this is Dunsbury Hill Farm. One of the key objectives is to improve employemnt opportunities for residents of Leigh Park.’
But many believe more jobs are needed in Horndean.
