CONSTRUCTION work has been completed at a new £20m industrial and warehouse development.

The site is set to bring an estimated 500 jobs to the region.

Alpha Park is on the Chandler’s Ford Industrial Estate at School Lane and Electron Way.

The first occupier at the park is nationwide courier and logistics firm, DX Network Services, but there are still two other units available for occupation.

The park, constructed by Bericote Properties Ltd, was agreed after increased demand from industrial and logistics occupiers for commercial property was recognised on the south coast.

Adrian Whitfield, industrial and logistics director for the south coast offices at Lambert Smith Hampton, said: ‘This high-quality new park, funded as a speculative development, symbolises the current high levels of confidence in the market in the south.

‘We are very excited to be welcoming the first occupiers at Alpha Park, having seen this project through all its stages.’
