Portsmouth supermarket Farmfoods is closing - but will be back bigger next month
SHOPPERS in Fratton are about to get more choice as a supermarket has announced its expansion.
Farmfoods in Fratton Road, Portsmouth, will close to undergo a refurbishment, expanding into the former Maplin store next door.
Neil Jenkins, from the firm, said: ‘I can confirm that our Portsmouth shop will close on Sunday, November 15 and will reopen on Saturday, December 12.’
The Scottish family-run supermarket business specialises in frozen food.
It recently opened a new store at Collingwood Retail Park, in Newgate Lane, Fareham.
It also has a store in Leigh Park.
