THE threat of homes being built on a precious green space appears to have gone away for good.

Earlier this year East Hampshire District Council refused Taylor Wimpey’s bid to build 135 homes on White Dirt Farm, one of the last green spaces between Horndean and Clanfield.

Taylor Wimpey had a six-month period to register an appeal to the government. The window of opportunity has now ended for them to appeal.
