EIGHT new jobs will be created when a new Costa Coffee opens its doors.

The 2,100sq ft Costa cafe opens in the Greywell Shopping Centre in Leigh Park on Saturday.

Members of Leigh Park Amateur Boxing Club will cut the ribbon to officially open the cafe.

It comes after Costa decided to sponsor the club.

The ceremony takes place at 10am.

Premier Coffee, the Southampton-based franchise company behind the new cafe, says it is a strong supporter of helping young people from across the south get back into employment and offering them training.

Miles Harding, from Leigh Park Amateur Boxing Club, said: ‘We’re delighted Leigh Park’s new Costa store has decided to sponsor our club.

‘It not only demonstrates huge support for the work we do at the club, but also for the young people of our community. We wish the Costa team much success with their new store.’
