COMPANIES are being urged to apply for growth vouchers to pay for professional advice.
A scheme set up by The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) was launched last year and closes next month.
Those who wish to apply must have 249 employees or fewer, be registered in England, sell goods or services as well as have a turnover of less than €50m.
Following a successful application, businesses are allocated a voucher of up £2,000 to cover half the cost of advice.
Advisers are paid directly by the small businesses who can also claim to £2,000 back from the government.
These vouchers can then be used for strategic business advice in a range of topics including finance and marketing.
