A SHOP in Fareham is celebrating a decade of doing business.

The Cartridge World store, in West Street, officially opened its doors at the end of 2002, serving more than 80,000 customers.

Franchisee Tony Hansford, who previously worked for Hampshire County Council’s IT department, said: ‘After 10 years with the council I felt as though I needed a fresh challenge, but I wanted to try and stay in touch with computers.

‘My sister mentioned that her friend and husband were just about to open a Cartridge World store in Dorset and it sounded like a great idea – the rest, as they say, is history.

‘We’ve come a long way since we opened the franchise and have established a loyal customer base.’
