TWO new board members have been appointed for the Portsmouth and South East Hampshire Education Business Partnership.

Jane Prescott, head teacher of Portsmouth High School, and Allison Stratford, communications director of Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust, have both become board members.

They were welcomed by the other board members at a meeting earlier this month.

The EBP works with the business and education communities to promote education and prepare young people for the world of work.

Allison said: ‘I am delighted to have been asked to join the Education Business Partnership board as a non-executive director, as this is an organisation that does so much good work with young people in our area.’

‘This is a particularly exciting time to be working with EBP as they are developing their careers service for schools alongside their well established work experience and work related challenge programmes.’
