A COACH service says it has seen an increase in advanced books thanks to railway engineering works.
National Express is offering coach trips for people who could face disruption while the works take place in the next few weeks.
Engineering works by Network Rail over six weekends this month and in February are affecting train journeys between the south coast to London Waterloo.
During the same period, National Express has seen a rise year-on-year in advanced bookings by 17 per cent.
The work started last weekend and will continue until February 15.
