BUSINESS leaders need to ‘get mentoring’, according to Gosport MP Caroline Dinenage.

She has backed government plans to provide thousands of mentors to the small, medium and micro business community.

The scheme aims to recruit top businessmen and women to mentor the smaller businesses in their area, training around 15,000 volunteer mentors across the UK.

She said: ‘This mentoring scheme is a fantastic opportunity for local entrepreneurs who have “been there and done it” to help support budding business-people in our community, and with all the necessary training provided.’

Business owners and entrepreneurs who are interested in volunteering should visit getmentoring.org for more information.
