A BUSINESS networking event has raised funds for a lifesaving charity.

The Curry Business event took place at Kutis of Wickham, and saw 30 business people swapping contact numbers over the poppadoms and chutneys at the same time as donating money to the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.

Nigel Prior, who helps arrange the monthly social networking event, said: ‘Thirty small business owners met and had fun and a marvellous curry at Kutis and with the help of Mahim Uddin the owner raised £200 for the charity.

‘The Curry Business has social business networking over a curry once ever month in the Solent area and raise funds for a different charity at each event.

‘Thank you all for supporting the event and help spread the word for the need to help this marvellous charity keep in the air.’
