Shoppers planning to visit Portsmouth on Black Friday have been encouraged to use the park and ride.

An enhanced service will run from Friday, November 24 until Sunday, November 26, when Portsmouth’s shops open their doors to Black Friday bargain hunters. Starting from the M275 terminal, buses will stop at St Agatha’s for city centre and Cascades shopping and at The Hard for Gunwharf Quays.

Shoppers using Park & Ride get unlimited use of service for the day and can travel between Park & Ride stops, providing easy travel between the city centre and Gunwharf Quays.

Extra buses have been organised to offer a more frequent service, running every seven minutes from 10am to 5pm on the three days, and a late service on Friday evening until 10.30pm.
