Fareham Leisure Centre to host range of family activities for open day

Fareham Leisure Centre will be throwing open its doors to show what it has to offer.

As well as visitors being able to try the fitness equipment for free, there will also be free swimming lessons, penalty shootouts, soft play and a climbing frame for children.

Meanwhile adults can try free exercise classes, gym challenges and try the sauna and steam room.

Dance and gymnastics demonstrations will also be happening at the centre, off Park Lane.

Ryan Grant, Everyone Active's contract manager, said: '˜I am really excited to be offering the community an opportunity to come and see the many ways that Fareham Leisure Centre can support them to get active.

'˜We are more than just a gym. The centre offers brilliant facilities, including a swimming pool, sports hall and fitness studios.

'˜This event gives people the chance to discover new ways of keeping fit and find a sport or activity they can continue to enjoy in the future.'

The open day is on September 29 from 11am to 4pm.
