A BUSINESSMAN will today finish his 1,100-mile charity cycle ride.

Nick Richens, 54, is the managing director of photographic chain London Camera Exchange in Fareham.

He set off on Tuesday, June 4 to cycle to all 28 branches of the chain. The journey will take him from Manchester to Southampton and from Plymouth to Norwich.

Nick is hoping to raise £10,000 for The MS Society and The Prostate Project.

He lost his father to prostate cancer last year and his sister suffers from MS. They both received support from the two charities.

After running the London marathon a year ago Nick was up for another challenge.

He said: ‘I fancied cycling but did not want to do something which had already been done. I thought “why not make something of my own?”.’

He will be ending his cycling marathon today at the London Camera Exchange in Winchester after completing the final leg from Guildford.
