Final push to donate Easter eggs for hospice

With just one week left for Portsmouth residents to contribute to the annual Access Self Storage Easter Egg Appeal, generous locals are challenged to beat the previous national collection.

Every chocolate egg collected in Portsmouth will go to The Rowans Hospice, a local charity dedicated to improving the lives of people with cancer and other life- limiting illnesses.

Phil Hall, the manager of Access Self Storage Portsmouth, said: ‘We’ve donated a sizeable storage room to house as many chocolate eggs as possible and there’s still lots of space left to fill it.

‘Any chocolates, biscuits or cakes you kindly drop off
will be stored safely here and taken straight to The Rowans Hospice. Easter is just one week away, so if we collect as many eggs as possible together, we’ll make it an even happier occasion for many who are in need of extra magic and cheer. The challenge is to beat Southampton.’

People can donate their eggs and chocolates at 28-34 Herbert Street, PO1 4QT any time before March 24.
