BUILDING firm Warings has been the first to take advantage of a scheme at the Portsmouth Marriott Hotel to hold eco-friendly meetings.

The meetings include green apples, recycled stationery, air conditioning controlled by the customers, Fairtrade drinks, and recycling bins.

For meetings worth more than £3,000 and held by Warings, the hotel will plant a tree and present the customer with a certificate.
