CONSTRUCTION staff in Fareham have been going green to help save the planet and support a Gosport charity.

Staff at Morgan Sindall switched off unnecessary appliances, cycled into work and conserved water as part of its Sustainability Week.

And they also dressed all in green for one day, paying money for the privilege. The cash will be given to the Gosport branch of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Area director Paul Gale said: ‘We’ve thoroughly enjoyed taking part in these activities to highlight the importance of sustainability.

‘Our site teams have also been challenged to come up with innovative ideas for how we can improve water-saving measures on site, and we’re really looking forward to putting their ideas into practice.’
