A LETTING agency based in Portsmouth has expanded by opening a new branch.
Tenant Network, which already has two branches in Portsmouth, has just opened a third branch at 3 Westquay House, 20 West Street, Fareham.
It is a specialist property management and letting agency which employs 15 members of staff.
‘It’s great to be able to expand and opening a branch in Fareham seemed the natural thing to do,’ said Morgan Ebert, who runs the company with his brother Chay.
‘We have already established a large and loyal client base in the Portsmouth area, so people are aware of us and we know the area, which is why we chose Fareham to open our third branch.
‘We have continuing plans to grow the business and the way we want to expand is to begin by going into the surrounding areas, building a local network and then branching out further from there.’
Morgan Ebert and Camille Huxham are now running the Fareham branch – and the business has already doubled its letting target in the first month of business.
Mr Ebert said: ‘We are delighted that the Fareham branch has taken off so quickly and we plan to take on more staff over the next year or so as this branch creates and attracts more business.
‘As a business we’re still performing well in spite of the recession and we have great belief and confidence in what we’re doing, which is why we have opened an additional branch.’
Mr Ebert believes more people are renting properties rather than buying compared to a few years ago and Tenant Network has found that the letting market has increased with tenants renting for longer which, with their expert service, has seen their business grow rapidly.
He added: ‘The rental market is growing more and more because of the economic climate so we have been busy and seen more business with landlords and tenants recently.’
To celebrate the opening of the new branch Tenant Network is inviting new landlords to visit its Fareham branch and is offering discounted rates in July for any who want to let their properties.
