A BISHOP’S Waltham firm will be helping to increase security in the United Arab Emirates.

Tavcom will be providing specialist CCTV training programmes for installation and service engineers in Dubai.

The deal will see the firm working with the Dubai Police Academy, which hosts the country’s International Centre for Security and Safety.

It plays a role in the strengthening of the skills of Dubai nationals, as well as international personnel.

Tavcom’s Mike Tennent said: ‘We are naturally proud that we have been entrusted by the Dubai Police Academy to provide the tutors and course material for these very important training programmes.

‘It is a very welcome vote of confidence in our ability to provide first-class education for anyone involved in the electronic security industry.’
