OFFICE workers got a Christmas treat in the form of a flashmob.

Eighty members of the Rock Choir broke out in song in the lobby of 1000 Lakeside, North Harbour, Portsmouth.

Karen Tyrrell, communications manager at the business park, said: ‘It was our way of thanking our occupiers.

‘It was good fun and hopefully our occupiers will see it as a good start to Christmas.’

Receptionist Lisa Mabe said: ‘It gave me goosebumps.’

Rock Choir has groups in Portsmouth, Winchester, Fareham, Hedge End and Chandler’s Ford.

Choir leader Jan Moll led yesterday’s flashmob.

She said: ‘We did the flashmob because it is Christmas and we were asked to come down as a surprise.

‘We all love to sing so we’ll take any opportunity to have a good sing, dance and have a bit of fun.’

The choir was due to make an appearances at Gunwharf Quays today as part of a fundraiser for Mencap. For more go to rockchoir.com
