FREE flowers were given out to make the day of shoppers at a shopping centre.

Scores of women were delighted with their surprise treat – a posy of gerberas, roses and chrysanthemums.

Ian Goodridge, centre manager of Locks Heath Shopping Village, said: ‘It was great to be able to offer our shoppers a treat.

‘Despite being the backbones of our families, mums can often feel a little overlooked. So we hope this fun giveaway offered our Fareham mums a lovely treat to say a thank you.’
