Property consultancy Vail Williams LLP acquired 26 Brunel Way on behalf of retained client Redstar.

Redstar, which employs 30 people and supplies 400 customers, currently has distribution centres at Empress Road, Southampton, and Portfield Industrial Estate, Nevil Shute Road, Portsmouth.

Ramazan said: ‘Due to a growing order book from our 400 customers, ranging from Bournemouth University to cafes and takeaways, the time came to centralise Redstar’s operations under one roof, with economies of scale. Our long-term strategy is to become the preferred supplier to universities, colleges and schools across the region.’

Redstar delivers food products to customers within 100 miles of Southampton. It is a member of the Confex buying group of independent wholesalers.
