Former Magpie pub is to be auctioned

A BLOCK of flats at a former Portsmouth pub is to go under the auctioneer's hammer with a guide price of more than £750,000.

The converted property at 64-66 Fratton Road, which used to be The Magpie, includes nine flats and is let at £58,728 a year. It is among 145 lots being sold by regional land and property auctioneers Clive Emson.

Auctioneer Rob Marchant said: ‘We anticipate keen interest from larger investors.’
