businesses are being offered a free course on protecting their intellectual property and brands.

The course, organised by Portsmouth City Council along with law firm Verisona Law, is on Wednesday, July 9 at the central library in Guildhall Square from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

Topics include the value of intellectual property; how to protect a brand; and the importance of having terms and conditions of business.

Free leaflets will be available to take away.

Resources for new and growing businesses at the library include market databases, information on networking and training, books on business topics and the latest business publications.
