A FREE two-day course for people who want to start their own business is being offered by Pompey in the Community.

The charity, which was formerly part of Portsmouth Football Club, is hosting the Kick Off in Business event, which is run by Start Up Link.

The event will provide people with all the necessary information and confidence to start up on their own.

Charity director Clare Martin said: ‘Pompey in the Community is delighted to be involved in Kick Off in Business.

‘We have a real commitment to develop our community which our club serves and this is an ideal way to encourage business and prosperity in our area.

‘We already offer a range of educational and apprenticeship opportunities for young people through our organisation, and Kick Off in Business will see us develop this offer to those who have an interest in running their own business.’

It will be held at the Pompey Study Centre, Anson Road, Fratton, on April 4 and 5.
