PORTSMOUTH recruitment consultancy Carrington West is expanding, thanks to a financial injection.

Newly-formed bank Aldermore has invested in the firm, which was started in January last year by James Fernandes and Simon Gardiner.

The new factoring relationship between Carrington West, of North Harbour, and Aldermore means the recruiter can cover its cashflow gaps and develop new business.

Carrington West’s turnover increased by £1m in the first six weeks since Aldermore’s involvement, and it is set to double its turnover again before the end of 2012.
