A NEW gaming lounge is to open in Southsea.

The lounge, called XOAB, will offer anyone with a passion for modern-day video gaming extra-fast wi-fi and graphics they could not get at home.

It will be the biggest gaming lounge in Portsmouth with more than 16 consoles.

Guy Davies, business owner, said: ‘We’re offering a casual walk-in service, where people can pay as they play in a relaxed gaming atmosphere.

‘It’s for those who enjoy the best of the best, this-generation gaming.’

XOAB is also in talks with Portsmouth College and the University of Portsmouth about arranging special student nights.

With only one other gaming lounge in Portsmouth, XOAB is hoping to attract gamers from all over the city.

The lounge, at 141 Albert Road, will open at 10am on Saturday.
