BUSINESSES are being urged to put themselves forward in a prestigious award scheme.
The Business Excellence Awards, run by The News, are set to return to the Portsmouth Guildhall on February 10.
There are 15 categories to enter ranging from Large Business of the Year to best Start-up Business, as well as Apprentice of the Year and Team of the Year.
The awards, now in their 16th year, recognise successful businesses and professionals in Portsmouth and the surrounding areas.
Organiser Liz Parker urged people to get their entries in before the November 18 deadline.
She said: ‘We’re looking for entries from those who can prove business achievement in their field. Whether in growth, innovation or pioneering new markets, we want to hear from you. You may have a high achiever or team of excellence within your company – why not put them forward?’
The winners of the awards, which have been backed by headline sponsor by Trethowans, will be announced on the night. Go to jpsouthevents.co.uk for more.
