Goose causes a stir as it sells out within one day

GERTIE the Good Goose has caused quite a stir '“ selling out within 24 hours.

The recently acquired product line, a baby teether, has flown out of SweetDreamers HQ in Waterlooville after its appeared in the Mail on Sunday.

This January SweetDreamers – which already produces baby sleep aid Ewan the Dream Sheep – signed a deal to distribute Gertie the Good Goose exclusively in the UK.

From Canadian brand ‘The Original Toy Corp’, Gertie has been designed to soothe tender gums. Made from 100 per cent pure natural rubber Gertie is BPA, Phthalate and PVC free. The teether is soft to touch, lightweight, has a slight vanilla scent and has contrasting colours for a quick and easy visual focus. Designed to entertain little ones too, Gertie quacks when squeezed.

Lynda Harding, who lives in Purbrook and runs Woodside Nursery School as well as SweetDreamers, said: ‘We were thrilled to see Gertie the Good Goose make the health page of You magazine.

‘We couldn’t believe it when we completely sold out in less than 24 hours. We now have new urgent shipments arriving, so we look forward to fulfilling lots more orders from parents looking for comfort and pain relief, as well as a friendly companion for their teething little ones.’
