A SHOP in Gosport will raise money to give food hampers to the underprivileged at Christmas.

The Co-op at The Parade, on Tukes Avenue, Bridgemary, will have a raffle and tombola, donating cash to the charity Helping Hands, on Thursday.

The shop will also host carol singers from the local Brownies group from 5pm to 6pm.

Visitors on the day can feast on mince pies, hot chocolate and mulled wine, all served in the shop.
