Gym run by Sports Direct Fitness in Fareham shuts up suddenly

A GYM operated by Sports Direct in Fareham has closed down.

The centre, in Pulheim Parade, notified its members to collect their belongings last month.

Unhappy customers vented on its Facebook page. One said: ‘Was nice to know a few days before it was due to reopen.’

Sports Direct Fitness took over the Fareham gym, which also had a sauna and swimming pool, from LA Fitness in June 2014. The nearest Sports Direct gyms are now in Salisbury, Guildford and Hove.

Sports Direct Fitness did not respond to The News.
