AN IT specialist has rebranded ahead of its 20th year in business and say they’re ready to engage with more organisations than ever before.

Hampshire-based Syn-Star, founded by director Giles Cleverley in 2002, has invested in a brand-new look as well as an online learning platform to provide free expert advice to local business owners and their teams.

The specialist says its on a mission to support the growth of companies in the area, by providing a super-fast service which strives to exceed expectations.

Mr Cleverley believes supporting the growth of a business through reliable technology is built on a strong relationship which lasts for years.

He said: ‘We see the relationship we have with our clients as a true partnership – we’re in it for the long term. It’s not about labelling customers as ‘clients’ but as ‘partners’ as we’re genuinely invested in their success.

‘As a business owner, I understand the frustrations many people like me go through when it comes to the world of technology. Spending so much time on trying to address an issue someone may know little about can distract from growing a company.

‘I really believe it’s the technology that plays a fundamental role in the operations of a company and therefore its development. That’s exactly why we’ve rebranded and built a new online learning platform, to engage with more people and build on our partnerships.’

Syn-Star, which also specialises in telecommunications for business, say their initial focus concentrates on building relationships with the company owner or key decision maker, then their team.

Giles continued: ‘I’m proud of the team here at Syn-Star who are passionate about being there for companies across a variety of industries.

‘As we look towards 20 years of business, I’m confident the magic potion for us has been all about focusing on our partnerships with those in the top positions, and then working down to help their teams who play an essential part of a company.’

General manager Marc Simpson, who has been with the company for more than 10 years, praised the team for doing their bit in forming excellent relationships.

He said: ‘The team do a great job at building true partnerships with those we work with – whatever their role and responsibility.

‘When times are good, we’re there for them. When times aren’t so good, we’re still there to offer reliable IT and telecoms.’
