PART of a major road will be closed overnight for two weeks while work takes place on a new business park.
Starting from Monday, January 4, a temporary diversion will be in place for the B2150 Hulbert Road, Havant between 8pm and 6am for a five-week period.
The stretch of road which lies between Junction 3 of the A3M and Purbrook Way, Leigh Park will see work being undertaken during the night to avoid major disruptions.
An alternative route for vehicles will be via the B2150 towards Waterlooville, south along the A3, Ladybridge Road and Purbrook Way, terminating at the roundabout.
A statement from Havant Borough Council said advance warning notifications and diversion signage will be erected for the duration of the closure to make motorists aware in advance and during the closure.
The works are being undertaken by VolkerFitzpatrick on behalf of Portsmouth City Council as part of the Dunsbury Hill Farm development.
The development has been in the pipeline for years and is expected to create hundreds of new jobs for the region with FatFace the first confirmed tenant.
