Hayling Island father of three to prove he's had tax credits unfairly cut at parliament

Paul Eite, from Hayling Island, will present evidence to the work and pensions select committee in London tomorrow.

Parents from Derby, Liverpool and Ealing will be joining Paul in protesting at the alleged actions of Concentrix, which was contracted by HMRC in 2014 to reduce tax credit fraud.

Paul, 39, says Concentrix cut his weekly allowance of £106, and claimed that his former partner and mother of his two sons still lived with him. He said: ‘Concentrix asked me to send them all my info, which I did the same day, but they say they never received the paperwork. I then found a Facebook group where everyone was saying that they had been told the same thing.’

Paul is now an admin on the Facebook group, which currently comprises more than 11,000 members.

‘We are hoping that we get a really good chance on Thursday to say that what Concentrix is doing is wrong,’ Paul added.

It was announced last month that HMRC will not be extending the contract with Concentrix, when it is up for renewal in May 2017.
