The free scheme gives families tips on what to visit, including the new playground, mini ports and mini loco train.

It also gives children advice on what to do if they become separated from their families.

Colin Wilding, general manager at Gunwharf, said the new scheme was aimed at helping children enjoy a day out in the centre '˜in a safe and secure environment'.

A history trail is also available with the scheme, with children able to redeem challenge stickers for tasty snacks at guest relations.

Passports can be collected in Gunwharf's Central Square.
