THE biggest development in a community for decades is poised to be approved.

Councillors will take a vote on plans to build 700 homes on land at Hazleton Farm, Horndean.

Planning officers have recommended the plans are approved.

The plans also include employment land and a new primary school. The meeting takes place at Barton Hall, Horndean Technology College, Barton Cross, from 6pm next Wednesday.
